Packeta is an aggregator: through one Packeta account you can deliver with many couriers, in many countries. When the Packeta locker map is on, it shows all Packeta pickup points by default: Packeta's own network and the lockers of all its partner couriers, in every country.

With a filter rule you choose which Packeta lockers your customers see. For example, you can show Packeta lockers in Hungary, Bulgaria or Greece, but not in Romania, where you deliver with another courier.

How the filter works

• Every Packeta pickup point has a carrierId: the Packeta ID of the courier that owns it. For example, 32970 = HU FoxPost Box.
• "0" is Packeta's own network (Packeta pickup points and Z-BOXes). It is the same ID in every country.
• The map shows only the Packeta points whose carrierId is in the filter. Pickup points of the other couriers you connected directly in xConnector (for example Sameday) are not affected.
• The filter does not select countries directly. You choose the countries by listing the IDs of the partner couriers from those countries.

Before you start

• Packeta is connected in xConnector and Collect points is on: xConnector → Profile → Connected services → Packeta connector → Collect points [ON] → Save. Details: Packeta.
• The locker map is installed in your store (cart, Thank you page or checkout). Find your solution in Locker map - all solutions.
• Shopify delivers to those countries: in Shopify → Settings → Shipping and delivery you have a shipping zone and a locker shipping method for every country where you want to show Packeta lockers.
• You know the IDs of the couriers you want to show. See the list in Packeta courier IDs for lockers and pickup points below.

Set up the filter

Step 1: Write the rule

Start from this code and replace the IDs with the ones you need:

• Max 5 IDs in one rule (one line). If you need more, add another line.
• Max 5 rules, so max 25 IDs in total.
• Keep "logic": "OR": a pickup point is shown if it matches any line.
• Use only straight quotes ". Curly quotes “ ” (they often appear when you copy from Word or email) make the rule invalid.

Important: more than 5 IDs in one line, or more than 5 lines, makes the locker map fail to load.

Step 2: Paste the rule in xConnector

1. Go to xConnector → Profile → Connected services.
2. Open the Packeta connector → Collect points → Filter rules.
3. Paste the rule and click Save.
4. Paste the same rule in the Filter rules of every connector that shows lockers on the map (for example Sameday, FAN Courier or another Packeta connector).

Important: if the Filter rules field is empty in one of these connectors, the filter is ignored and the map shows all Packeta lockers again.

Step 3: Test

1. Open the locker map in your store.
2. Search for a city in a country you excluded (for example Bucharest). No Packeta lockers should appear there. The lockers of the couriers you connected directly in xConnector still appear.
3. Search for a city in a country you included (for example Sofia). The lockers of the couriers in your rule should appear.

Example: Packeta lockers in other countries, but not in Romania

The store delivers in Romania with its own couriers, and with Packeta in Hungary, Poland, Germany, Bulgaria, Greece, France, Italy, Spain and Portugal. The rule lists the Packeta partners from these countries and leaves out "0" and the Romanian IDs:

Result: on the map, customers see the lockers of these 20 couriers in the 9 countries, and no Packeta lockers in Romania.

Packeta courier IDs for lockers and pickup points

Only these couriers have pickup points on the Packeta map, so only these IDs work in the filter. The Home delivery IDs (needed for shipping labels) are in the Packeta article.

Other filters for the locker map

• Show lockers only in some countries: in Shopify → Settings → Checkout → the xConnector extension → "Show lockers only in these countries". This filter applies to all couriers on the map, not only to Packeta. Use it when you want to hide a whole country. Use the Packeta filter when you want to hide only the Packeta lockers in a country and keep the other couriers there. • Allowed courier (xConnector → Profile → Tools → Collect points): if you use this field, make sure it also includes the couriers of the Packeta lockers you want to show. Otherwise some of them can be hidden even if they are in the filter rule.

Good to know

• Without "0", the countries where Packeta has only its own network (for example the Czech Republic and Slovakia) show no Packeta lockers. Add "0" only if you want Packeta's own network in all countries, Romania included.
• Romania's Packeta IDs (RO Sameday Box 7455, RO FAN Box 32428, RO Romanian Post Pickup 39234) must stay out of the rule if you don't want Packeta lockers in Romania.
• The filter changes only what the map shows. It does not change your shipping rates or the shipping methods in checkout.
• When you generate shipping labels, choose the Packeta connector and the external carrier of the selected locker, as described in Packeta.
