Cancel a shipping label

After generating a shipping label in xConnector and need to cancel it, ensure you cancel it here as well.

If you only cancel it on the courier service platform, the shipping label remains valid in xConnector, preventing you from creating a new one for the same order.



How to cancel a shipping label?



It is important to remember that documents generated through xConnector will also be cancelled through xConnector, and these documents will be cancelled in the billing or courier service platform as well.


How to cancel a document:

  • Go to xConnector - All orders
  • Click on the order number - Order details are displayed
  • On the right side of the screen, in the Documents section, you can find the saved shipping labels
  • click on the Cancel button 



Currently, the shipping label has been cancelled both in xConnector and in the courier's platform.




If a document has already been cancelled on the courier's platform, there is an option to delete it from xConnector so that the option to generate documents for the same order can be reactivated.


How to delete a document if it's already canceled in the courier's platform:


  • Go to xConnector - All orders
  • Click on the order number - Order details are displayed
  • On the right side of the screen, in the Documents section, you can find the saved shipping labels
  • click on the Delete button 




Currently, the shipping label has been deleted in xConnector. 




Important note! If the order is marked as Dispatched, or Fulfilled, the option to generate another shipping label is not active, so you must mark the order as Un-Dispatched and/ or Un-Fulfilled.



To generate another document (after you've cancelled the initial document) you have to ensure that the order is 

  • Unfulfilled
  • Undispatched





How to mark an order as Un-Fulfilled?


First you have to Cancel the shipping label - the order will be automatically Unfulfilled 



If, for various reasons, the order remains in the Fulfilled status, you need to mark it as Unfulfilled in Shopify:


Go to Shopify - Orders - Click on the order - Click on ... - Cancel Fulfillment




How to mark an order as Un-Dispatched?


Go to xConnector - All orders - click on the order number - order details are displayed -  top of the screen, in the middle - at Dispatched, click on the red arrow






How to cancel BULK shipping labels?


  • Go to xConnector - All orders
  • Select the orders for which you want to cancel the shipping labels
  • Click on the arrow near the green button Create documents (right-up)
  • Click on Cancel documents
  • Select Cancel Shipping labels 
  • Select  Revert the dispatch order flag
  • Click on Cancel documents








When you cancel an invoice in xConnector, it will also automatically be cancelled in the invoicing service platform.
