Before connecting the eKont service in xConnector, you’ll need to contact an EKont representative who will provide the credentials required to access the EKont API.


To connect the EKont service in xConnector, follow the steps below:



1. Connect the EKont service in xConnector



Go to  xConnector > Profile > Connected Services > Connect a new service > Shipping labels > Connect a courier > Select eKont



Fill in the credentials provided and confirmed by your courier:

  • Username – The username provided by EKont
  • Password – The password provided by EKont
  • Client code – The client code provided by EKont
  • Client name – The client name confirmed by EKont
  • Agreement code – The agreement number confirmed by EKont
  • Sender office code* – The code provided by EKont

    *Note: Fill in this field only if you plan to drop off parcels at an EKont office.


 

2. Fill in your shop Sender Address


There are two scenarios:


a. You ship from a single address

b. You ship from multiple addresses


2.a If you ship parcels from a single sender address




Go to  xConnector > Profile > Your Account > Shop Address



Enter the sender address exactly as configured in the EKont platform.
Get in touch with your EKont contact person to confirm the correct details.



2. b If you ship parcels from multiple sender addresses



  • Go to Shopify > Settings > Locations


Here, define the desired locations by saving the same addresses that you have agreed upon in your contract with eKont.


In the Name field, make sure to enter the name provided by eKont for your location – that is, the Client name.

 


  • Go to xConnector > Profile > Your account > Fulfillment location > Show fulfillment location selector


Enable the address selector, and when generating a shipping label, you’ll be able to choose the address you want to ship the parcel from.

3. Fill in your Bank Account details



Go to xConnector > Profile > Your account > Company information and fill in your bank account. 





Now you can succesfully generate Ekont shipping labels!
