Check the service access with your credentials
Before you connect the GLS Online service through xConnector, ensure that your login details are accurate by attempting to log in on the GLS website.
If you're able to log in successfully, you can then use the same credentials to establish a connection via the xConnector application.
Additionally, confirm that you have received your Client ID. If you haven't, reach out to your GLS contact person and request it.

When you generate shipping labels, you will find the service name in the xConnector interface. When you integrate more couriers services in xConnector - It is recommended to change the service name to match the name of your shipping method in Shopify to activate the automatic selection according to the courier chosen by the customer in the shipping label generation popup (so it’s not necessary to select the courier manually from the courier's list)
Enable service: ON. Make sure you enable the service.
ON: the service is active - you can generate shipping labels for GLS.
OFF: the service is inactive - you will no longer find it in your integrated courier’s list when you create a shipping label.
Save.
