This error occurs when the locality (city) in the recipient's address is not recognized by the courier's nomenclature, even though xConnector's address nomenclature has already validated the address as being valid.
Generate again the shipping label for this particular oder and go to Recipient tab. Here you can check the address, more exactly the City field
In most cases, the locality is not recognized for one of four reasons. It could be due to one of the possible causes below:
1. Diacritics (ă, â, î, ș ț)
Example: Order's city address: Pitești, the error displayed is: The recipient's locality could not be matched!
The correct city name is Pitesti.
2. Hyphens (- or _)
Example: Order's city address: Piatra-Neamt, the error displayed is: The recipient's locality could not be matched!
The correct city name is Piatra Neamt.
3. Wrong locality (city name). The customer fills in the village, but the courier does not have the village in his nomenclature, but only the commune to which the village belongs.
Example: Order's city address: Toflea, the error displayed is: The recipient's locality could not be matched!
The correct city name is Brahasesti. (village Toflea is part of the Brahasesti commune)
4. Wrong locality (city) name. The customer incorrectly fill in the Locality in the County field and the County in the City field, the error displayed is: The recipient's locality could not be matched!
Example:
The County: Alba Iula. The City: Alba.
The correct form: The county should be Alba and the City Alba Iulia.
