You can activate the validation module here:
xConnector > Profile > Preferences > Address validation
Address validation is a process in which the address entered by the customer at checkout is checked and compared against the official address nomenclature. This helps identify and correct errors such as misspelled street names or incorrect postal codes.
Currently, this feature is available only for Romanian addresses.
Validate address
Once activated, the address correction module will display the status of each address/zip code in the order list using a car-shaped icon.
Icon meanings:
? Green – The address/zip code is correct
? Yellow – The address/zip code is incomplete
? Red – The address/zip code is incorrect
⚪ Grey – The address correction module did not run (not activated)
⚠️ Note: The address validation applies only to orders placed after the module is activated.
You can filter the orders according to the Address status in the left panel:
Based on the scoring provided by the algorithms in the address correction module, the application will suggest the correct zip code or address.
The user can then validate and apply the correction by clicking the “Fix” button when generating the delivery document.
The application will display a confirmation text if the zip code corresponds to the address.
Fill in the Missing Zip Code Automatically
When the shipping address does not include a zip code, the application will attempt to automatically fill it in.
How it Works
- The address validation module runs to verify the shipping address.
- Based on the result:
The zip code is automatically extracted and filled in.
The car-shaped icon turns green, indicating the address is valid and complete.
❌ Invalid address:
The zip code cannot be extracted.
The car-shaped icon turns red, indicating the address is invalid.
In this case, you can manually validate it by contacting the customerand ask for the correct address so the app can identify the zip code.
Tip:
You can also filter orders by address validation status using the filters on the left-hand side of the screen.
