1. Address validation

You can activate the validation module here:  xConnector > Profile > Preferences > Address validation

Address validation is a process by which we check and compare the address entered by the customer with the official nomenclature of lessons to correct any errors in street naming or zip code.

Currently, this feature is available just for Romanian addresses' nomenclature.

Validate address

Once activated, the address correction module will display the address/zip code status in the order list through a car-shaped icon.

  1. Green icon - the address/ zip code is correct

  2. Yellow icon - the address/ zip code is incomplete

  3. Red icon - the address/ zip code is incorrect

  4. Grey icon - the address correction module did not run (it wasn’t activated). The validation address module applies to orders placed after you start this module.

You can filter the orders according to the Address status in the left panel:

Depending on the scoring based on the algorithms in the address correction module, the application will display the correct zip code/address, and the user validates it by clicking the Fix button when the delivery document is generated.

The application will display a confirmation text if the zip code corresponds to the address.

Fill in the missing zip code

When the shipping address does not include the zip code, the application will fill it in automatically.

How it works:

  • First, we run the validation address module to verify the shipping address.

→ If the address is valid, the zip code is extracted and filled in automatically ,and  the car-shaped icon is gree,n and so you know that the address is validated

→ If the address is invalid, we cannot extract the zip code; the car-shaped is red, so you know that the address is not validated. You can validate it by contacting the client.

Also, based on this module you can filter the order based on the address validation status. See  the filters on the left-hand side of the screen
